We recently returned from the PPAI Expo in Las Vegas, the biggest and best trade show for promotional products in the world. As happens every year at this exciting event, there was a ton of cool products there that blew our minds. We’ll be talking about some of those things in the coming months.
One takeaway from this years show that we really wanted to share with you now, though, is the incredible amount of high-quality, name-branded products that areavailable in the promotional products industry. Many people think that promo products are just cheap, throwaway marketing gimmicks. That’s simply not true. Here’s a look at some of the cool items you can brand and give away (or sell!) these days. If you like anything you see here, just give us a call and we’ll set you up.
Water bottles and travel mugs from Thermos and Under Armour. We grabbed a few photos of these at the trade show; they were quite popular items. Thermos in particular is the name you know when it comes to vacuum insulation technology, and it’s for good reason. Thermos products work, and they work well. A relative newcomer to this field is Under Armour, which also produces a number of top-quality brandable drinkware, especially geared toward the sporty types: cyclists, hikers, runners, kayakers and more. Notebooks from Moleskine. Yes, you can get the high-quality notebook made famous by van Gogh, Hemingway and Picasso branded with your own company logo! These make great giveaways at conferences and as specialty products — a journal of tasting notes for coffee or wine aficionados, maybe? Or how about a branded notebook for keeping track of medical appointments, oil changes or plant care? Use your imagination and find something that fits your business! Browse options.
Computer totes from Samsonite. This high-quality twill-and-leather laptop tote bag comes with subtle branding options so you can maintain the bag’s top-tier look while also associating your company’s logo with style and quality. Browse options.
Wireless phone chargers from Samsung. When customers buy Samsung, they know they’re getting a quality product. And when they see your company’s name and logo front and center, they’ll associate you with quality, too. And they’ll be doing it often; just think about how many times people charge their phones! Smart Wi-Fi outlets from TP-Link. Smart homes are all the rage right now, and this high-quality Internet-connected outlet from TP-Link is one great way for customers to get there. It can connect to customers’ Amazon Echo or Google Home to allow remote control of whatever’s plugged into the outlet, such as lamps, televisions and portable heaters. This would be a great option for tech companies looking for useful and fun customer gifts. Browse options.
Solar lanterns from Goal Zero. Goal Zero’s aim is to create a sustainable future through smart, portable power solutions. One useful option is their solar powered Crush Light portable lantern. It produces up to 60 lumens and can even be charged via USB when you’re in a pinch. Eco-conscious customers will love these. Browse options.
