Sublimation process
Dye Sublimation is the method of applying an image to specially coated ceramics, metals and polyester cloth, using three main ingredients: sublimation ink, heat and pressure. The sublimation process is different than standard ink transfers because instead of using a carrier sheet to take the ink over to the shirt or item, sublimation ink actually becomes a part of the item.

Sublimation ink is unique in its ability to convert from a solid to a gas without going through a liquid form. (Just like dry ice.) The conversion is initiated by heat and controlled with pressure and time. Sublimation offers a fast, low cost, solution to print high quality full color images on shirts and many other items to start or enhance your business.
